Aliff is an administrative assistant in a small advertising firm owned by Bella. He is the only male employee in the firm while the others are all female staff. Aliff was asked by Bella to help replace a couple of light bulbs in the main office corridor that had burnt out. While doing so Aliff was seriously injured by electric shock. Investigation revealed that the shock was caused by improper wiring done on the office electrical system. Bella said that the original wiring service was done by a company she found on Mudah.my when renovating the office and did not verify whether the electricians that she hired are certified or qualified for the work since she assume all companies that advertised their service must be competent. Aliff wishes to sue Bella for negligence. Discuss whether he would be successful.
