Case Scenario: Mr. Ali is the Sales Manager of a team with 4 sales executives. This company is known for selling luxury villas projects in Bahrain. Ali conducts two meetings with the sales team yearly; one in January to discuss the proposed annual target and the other one in December to review their target achievement. Ali is not flexible about the sales targets. The sales team is finding it hard to meet the targets set for 2021 due to COVID 19 situation and requested Ali to support them by reducing the target. The team members are suffering from anxiety and stress about the end of the year review of their individual performance, based on which they would be either retained or fired.
