Select a policy, programme or project and review its M & E structuring based on some of the generic tenets of assessing an M & E System. your focus in this exercise is on oversight $($Evaluation$).$ The areas that you could assess include: $1.$ What potential pressures are pushing for the need for oversight? and why? $2.$Who is the advocate or champion for the system?

$3.$What is motivating the champion to support such events? $4.$Who will own the system and what quantity of information is required? $5.$How will the system directly support better resources allocation and the achievement of programme goals?

$6.$How will the organization, the champion and staff react to nagative information generated by the system?

$7.$Where does capacity exist to support the system?
