You will need to conduct qualitative user research (interviews) on your chosen topic to understand your users need, behaviours, attitudes, and goals. This research will help you define the features of your website. Your findings will be developed into key UX deliverables - including a persona, customer journey map and Entity Attribute breakdown.
Your submission will take the form of a Research Report submitted as a single PDF. It will need to include the following.

It serves as a concise and clear description of; ' What your product is (1 paragraph) ' What you did (1 paragraph) ' What were your key findings (1 paragraph or bullet points) ' What are the key outcomes for your product (1 paragraph or bullet points) ! Hot Tip: Write your executive Summary LASTllll User Research Summary Length 1 - 2 Page(s) Description This is summary of your findings from the qualitative user interviews. You should outline; ' What you did ' What were your assumptionsfhypothesis ' What were your key findings ' Who your personas are and how they were segmented ' What are the key outcomes for your product ' Were there any gaps in the research? Checklist You can design the personas however you like in whatever program you like however i suggest sticking to A4 format either Portrait or landscape works. You need to include the following content in each persona; Photo Archetype (this is the segment your user is representing (ie. Buyer, Seller, Renter) Age Location Job Marital Status A user quote that sums up that persona (this can be directly from a user you interviewed or paraphrased by you based on your research] Goals [A few bullet points that sums up what that user is trying to achieve} Bio [ 23 Paragraph biography about who this persona is, what they do, what they are about) Must Do List (a few bullet points of the things your product MUST D0 to meet your personas needs. Must Not Do List (a few bullet points of the things your product MUST NEVER D0 to avoid giving your persona a negative experience} You may also want to include; Social Media Apps and Usage Tech Proficiency Rating {how good or poor they may be with using technology} Device and Website usage [a breakdown of what browers devices and systems they use and h ow ofte n] Description Customer journey maps will often (but not always) represent a chronological journey the user takes to achieve their goal. Be mindful that a customers journey starts before they interact with your product and may end long after. You will need to map out your personas Actions and Goals, Empathy Map (feelings/attitudes) and Opportunities across this journey. Some tips; . Most of the data from this can be copied directly from your transcribed notes from the user interviews. Try not to make up or 'fill in' gaps without some evidence from your interviews to backup that assumption. . The most important part here is your Opportunities - they represent the ideas you think may solve your users needs. You can come up with as many ideas as possible, they are free from budget or technology constraints. The more ideas the better - these are not a commitment to build and later you will choose which ideas to put into your prototype. . Try to write your journey based on a single user goal, for example how does someone go on holidays? They need to plan, book, pay, wait, travel and return. What are they doing, thinking and feeling at each of these stages.
