Select a project in which you are currently involved or in which you have recently been involved. Keep the project simple as it will be the framework for the rest of the course. Examples from previous courses have been remodeling projects, redecorating projects, buying a car, planning a vacation, or recent work projects that you were involved in, and things as simple as spring cleaning or landscaping the yard. The components that are essential are that it takes yourself as Project Manager and at least two other people to complete and that it has a budget regardless of size and it must have a schedule for each step of the process. Your project is not set in stone but if you give this some good thought you will be able to use this example throughout the class. If you need to change let me know what you are thinking and why. This is a discussion board so you can see what others are choosing and you can work together to decide if your projects are worthy of being your class project. Have fun with this selection process and choose something that has meaning to you so you heighten the learning experience. There is no right or wrong answer, all you need to do is submit your selection and comment on at least two others postings.
