Select a town or city to study. Put together a portfolio of as many representative images/maps/graphs (visual materials) of that place as you can find, along with brief narratives to capture the major characteristics of the city/town. When compiling the portfolio consider who produced these images, the purpose for which they were produced and for what audiences, and how these visual materials help us understand the structure and change of the city.
