Here are the instructions:

Assignment Description

This assignment gives you an opportunity to research, summarize, and analyze material to be presented in a short report. Specifically, you are asked to research a topic and prepare a short report with the following information:

Executive Summary Section

You should include an Executive Summary in your report which includes a brief statement about what the topic is $($what$),$ why it is important $($why$),$ and what company $($ies$)$ you chose to highlight $($who$).$

In addition, the Executive Summary will include a summary of the findings, recommendations and future predictions sections of your report.

Note that the sections of your report will answer these questions in detail; the purpose of the Executive Summary at the beginning of the report is to give your reader a quick overview of the report. Your reader should have a good understanding of the entire report just by reading the Executive Summary.

The Executive Summary should be approximately one half to three$-$quarters of a page. The Executive Summary is written after the report is complete as you will not know specific contents of the report until after you write it$.$

Body Section: Create custom headings

Why is your topic important in business?

I suggest you choose one company and prepare a short report in which you interrogate this company$$s approach to your topic. If you find there is not enough information on just one company, you may highlight $2$ or $3$ companies. Think of $3-5$ headings to narrow your research. Examples headings might be:

What challenges has abc company had with respect to your topic?

What strengths does abc company have with respect to your topic?

What is public opinion about abc company and your topic?

$3.$ Make recommendations about how the company should proceed going forward with respect to your topic.

Closing Section

In this section include a $5-10$ sentence summary of the report. You should pay particular attention to your future predictions and recommendations in this section.

Your report should include the following Front Matter: Title page, table of contents; Back Matter: Reference Page

You will work with a partner on this assignment, and you will be assigned one of the following three topics: Customer Experience; Marketing Analysis; Global Expansion.
