Bland Manufacturing

First, you will be asked for recommendations on:

a. Processes (give 2 recommendations)

Where are the bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and how can we improve?

How can they restructure to take advantage of needed outputs?

b. Internal controls (give 2 recommendations)

Where are the risks? How can we reorganize or shift job responsibilities to mitigate risks

Anything else that came to your attention that would increase the operating efficiency of Bland Manufacturing?

Second, you will be asked to make a recommendation for one of the packages you researched in the second paper. There is never a perfect package that will meet all of your needs. Therefore, there is no right package. You will need to give your professional opinion, but please make sure you give clear reasons for your choice.

Third, after you have made the recommendation, you will need to put together an estimate (budget) for this software change. Prices may not be readily available from the website, so give yourself plenty of time to do this research. You will need to include such things as:

Just modules for manufacturing accounts payable, and sales

Additional technology

Installation costs

Training costs

Maintenance package

Upgrades

Additional staff

Cost savings

After putting this budget together, please address the management teams expectations for price and timeline for implementation. Are these expectations reasonable? If not, how do they need to adjust them?

After you have completed these Part III components in 4-5 pages, please combine them with Part I and Part II into one comprehensive package that you would be proud to give to the management team. Be sure to add some opening, closing, and transitional paragraphs
