Setup the Windows $8$ machine for image$-$creation purposes. There are two major goals in this exercise: first is to install md$5$deep$64$ and second is to configure a separate drive to receive the forensic image you will create in the next section of this capstone.

You arrive at the suspect Windows $8$ machine and you need to login to it to start your work.

Note: The login for the Windows $8$ machine is the username user and the password password.

The md$5$deep$64$ application creates cryptographic hashes representing things such as data, files, and whole drives. Extract it from md$5$deep$-4\mathrm{.}4.$zip on the Desktop and place md$5$deep$64.$exe into the C:$\backslash$Windows$\backslash$System$32\backslash$ directory.

Lastly, you need a separate drive to store the forensic image you will be creating. To do so$,$ use the Command Prompt to launch the Disk Managament utility and then format the E:$\backslash$ drive. Create a text file named partition$\_$test and save it in the root directory of E: to verify the creation of the E drive.

Make sure you are not saving the text file as partion$\_$test.txt$.$txt
