Several years ago President Trump's first nomination to the Supreme Court was Neil Gorsuch from the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit to replace Justice Scalia. There were two opinions written by Judge Gorsuch which you should briefly review.  Acknowledging the fact that Judge Gorsuch was confirmed, if you were to look at this question while the nomination was pending based on the two cases, would this nomination satisfy the criteria you laid out?  If so how and if not why not?  Which method of judicial interpretation do you believe Judge Gorsuch applies and why?
