1. Micah Honnes-Hertz drove an 18 wheeler semi-trailer truck cross country for 20 years. Unfortunately for Micah, the truck had no shock absorbers. Micah has retired from driving and is investing in a vehicle rental business called Hertz Rentals. Micah needs to determine how many trucks he should purchase for the business. Market research has gathered the following statistics regarding the number of customers wanting to rent a truck each day and the rental period.

A net profit of $50 is made for each day that a truck is rented. There is a stock-out charge of $20 that is incurred whenever no truck is available for a customer desiring one. Each day that a truck remains unrented results in a cost of $10.

1. Simulate 5 days of business if three trucks are assigned to the new office.
2. Using simulation, describe how the optimal number of trucks that should be maintained at the new offices could be determined.
