Question: Create a process diagram similar to the one on slide 5 (Chapter 3) to describe SSBs modified procurement process.

The business process

The process used by SSB is similar to the one described on the PowerPoint slide (Chapter 3, slide 5). However, there are some differences. These differences are explained below, and you must incorporate them in your assignment.

1. After evaluating the current process, it is determined that the process will be more efficient if Tim Jones initiates the process (i.e., creates the requisition) instead of David Bloomburg. This is because Tim is more aware of the state of inventory than David as Tim is constantly in the Warehouse. However, David must approve all requisitions.
2. SSBs agreements with vendors has changed as follows:
   1. All shipments will now include an additional 6% in shipping costs for orders under $10,000.
   2. Payment terms are 2% 10/ Net 30.
