So once you're on SPSS you'll need to input analyze > descriptive statistics > descriptives. Then add each variable ( could be like race, ethnicity, gender, martial status, BMI category and so forth). Next press options > select desired statistics (mean, range and standard deviation). Press continue after inputting all that information to get answer for part 1 of this question. Any other questions that I can help with to solve this let me know. I couldn't figure this problem out myself because I don't have SPSS so I don't really know how to use it either and I need this question answered ASAP.
