Solving Business Problems - 5 Step Process In every workplace, there is always a problem that needs to be solved. I will use my company for example. At my company, we work with domestic and international customers from various industries. Some of the most challenging things to do is to figure out what are customer is looking for and how us as a company can fulfil their needs with the best customer service. Internally, my company strives to deliver our services to our customers in the leanest way. One problem I faced at my company was delivering our customers product at a timely manner. We had to meet customer demand and it was critical to complete this task, otherwise the company would lose money. I solved this problem by incorporated the 5-Step Process while also including a lot of lean methodology I'm so used to. I first pinned the problem by realizing that the company was almost late to delivery. I also identified the issues, which helped understand the root cause of why the late delivery was about to happen. While I identified the best guess, this helped me preform a kaizen on the issue. After these measures were performed, the problem was mitigated and the late deliveries were eliminated
