Question:
Sometimes it’s difficult to implement new technologies because the World is resistant to change. For example, a professor at Stevens Institute of Technology told his class that the answers to the network problems of the day would be solved by IPv6. The year was 1994 and IPv6 has still not replaced IPv4. Another example that is more relevant to programming is XHTML, which was supposed to replace and solve technology and browser compatibility issues associated with HTML 4. Yet HTML 4 evolved into HTML 5 and XHTML has failed to be embraced. Secondly, students often complain in course surveys that their instructor said, “Google it!” The ability to use Google effectively is a valuable tool for the workplace and your boss will be expecting you to find answers on your own. It’s in your best interest to be really good at it.
Share what you find in terms of different ways data is formatted using the print statement. (Are you finding the format method to be widely implemented?)
Are programmers instead using older techniques? If so, what techniques are they using? Do you have a preference?
f programmers are not using the format method, why do you think that is?
