Stardust, Inc. began operations on Jan 1,2022, Jake Weil, the sole shareholder, intended to operate as an S corp, but received erroneous tax advice on how to do that. On January 2,2024, he came to me for assistance. I realized that Jake had never filed a form 2553 to make the S election. What advice can I offer?
