Access the United States CensusLinks to an external site. and select a topic of interest. The topics are listed on the upper left$-$hand side of the screen.

You will get a list of options located under that topic, select an option from this list to add additional filtering.

Now select from the list a topic of interest.

The next screen should provide an Excel spreadsheet that you can click on to download.

Review the spreadsheet, extract the data of interest from the existing table and create a new table. You'll need to format the table appropriately in order to get the desired visual output.

Once the table is formatted select your choice of visualization. Use the data in the table to create some form of visual representation of the data. Label the graphics accordingly including legends, titles, labels, colors, etc. The type of visualization used is at your discretion.

Scatter Plot Chart

Heat Map

Save the spreadsheet.

Write a brief summary explaining the contents being conveyed in your visual representation of the data.

Submit the spreadsheet containing both the data and visualization.

You also need to include the summary with your submission.
