Statistics New Zealand gathers information on 'life satisfaction' in their surveys of New Zealand residents. Respondents are asked, in a single question, how they feel about their life as a whole. The resulting data provide an indication of whether self-reported life satisfaction is 'High' or 'Low'. The table below presents some survey results, cross-classified by age.
