Statistics question. I am using a Pearson Correlation coefficient to measure the strength of of a linear association between Narcisisstic Personality Disorder and Domestic Abuse. Using an alpha level of 0.05. There are 100 study participants. I assume that means there are 98 degrees of freedom. The analysis is one-tailed. When calculating the critical value I am to look at calculating for r correct? I am getting a critical value of 0.165 but that seems low. Can you help?
