Question: Steele and Pinto ( 2 0 0 6 ) examined whether people s level of trust in their direct supervisor was related to their level

Steele and Pinto (2006) examined whether peoples level of trust in their direct supervisor was related to their level of agreement with a policy supported by that leader. To examine the relationship between trust and level of agreement, employees were asked to rate their level of agreement with a decision made by their direct supervisor using a scale from 1(strongly disagree) to 7(strongly agree). They were also asked to indicate their level of trust in their supervisor. Based on their level of trust they were grouped by the researcher into two groups, group 1 included those that had low trust in their supervisor, and group 2, included those employees that had high trust in their supervisor. The data below shows responses similar to what was found in the study. Use the data to examine whether there is a relationship between trust and agreement.
Group 1(low trust group): 3,2,4,6,1,2
