Compose an email survey that asks these two questions:

• What three things motivate you at work?
• What three things do managers or supervisors do that "de-motivate"?

Step 2

Share the survey with at least 10 friends or colleagues who are currently or formerly employed. Send as many as it takes to get back at least 5 responses to use for this assignment. Be sure to tell them this is a homework assignment and you need to hear from them within 24 hours if possible.

Step 3

Write a summarythat includes the following information (3 points for each question COMPLETELY answered):

• Profile of your respondents (in general terms and not identifying them!)
• Questions posed in your e-mail survey
• Responses to the questions
• Briefly, summarize your findings. Based on what you know about friends, relatives, co-workers, and classmates, how would you relate your survey responses to what you have learned about personality characteristics and motivation theories?
• Include how many emails were sent, how many responded
