Step 1 - Part A - Complete a clinical trial How to conduct your trial: 1. Application of Retinol on LEFT side of face both am and pm 2. Application of L-Ascorbic Acid on RIGHT side of face both am and pm 3. Prior to application, ensure skin has been cleansed thoroughly 4. Minimise confounding variables (e.g. do NOT use other products with active ingredients during the six-week trial period) 5. Take note of the questions asked in the Consumer Perception Questionnaire (pages 6 & 7 of this document) throughout the trial, so more accurate answers can be recorded 6. After the six-week trial period, you will refer to the "Collated Results for the Consumer Perception Trial" (available under the Assessment Tab). Add your results to the pool and commence writing your clinical report. Step 2 - Part B - Write a Clinical Report How to write a clinical report? In contrast to an essay, a report is highly structured and is presented under a series of headings and sub-headings. The purpose of a report is to investigate, describe and analyse a situation. Your clinical report MUST consist of the following headings: 1. Title (Note: Clinical Report is NOT a suitable title) 2. Abstract 3. Introduction 4. Methods 5. Results . Discussion 7. References
