Step 1: Problem Statement

Develop a problem statement to research related business or economic problem/issue. The problem statement requires the organization and analysis of a suitable set of qualitative data or at least two variables.

Step 2: Data Collection

Collect data from the Internet. Cite the source of the data you plan to use.

Step 3: Analysis

Provide detailed statistical analysis of the data. Include tables or graphs to support your analysis. You may use technology if you wish. Your analysis must include but is not limited to:

Develop appropriate descriptive statistics to summarize the data.

Perform a confidence interval on either a mean or proportion.

Perform a hypothesis test on either a mean or proportion.

Use linear regression and create a scatterplot, determine the least squares regression equation, and determine the coefficient of determination.
