You will DEVELOP TWO SETS OF QUESTIONS FOR THIS MILESTONE. The questions will include two sets of 5 questions for a general orientation interview that concentrates on the Training assesment of the Organization. Develop a list of 5 questions (based on questions in Appendix A-Harrison) appropriate for two specific categories (Appendix A, I-XI) of a GENERAL ORIENTATION INTERVIEW (Example: Group Structure and Process and Environment: Internal Relations).

  • You will choose 2 categories (from Appendix-A) and develop 5 questions for each category (10 total questions).
  • If you are doing your interview this week: Submit your interview questions to your instructor via email.
  • OPTIONAL INTERVIEW - Identify ONE PERSON who will be interviewed for the General Orientation Interview
    • Plan to spend 1-hour or less in the interview.
    • Conduct the interview.
    • Summarize (minimum of 500 wds) your general orientation interview with information on technical and procedural difficulties encountered (keeping respondent on track, time issues, and skipped questions). Explain how you will deal with these difficulties during the next interview. Include relevant course materials/theory.

Step 3:

Reflecting on the General Orientation (Harrison, Appendix A) you developed, your interviews (if completed) and other data develop a 500-wd minimum response in which you:

  • Identify the two categories of questions chosen for your General Orientation Interview.
  • Identify the key differences you noticed in the individual level questions versus the group/organizational level interview questions.
  • Explain how the interview questions you developed reflect considerations of output, systems theory, adaptation, or stakeholder satisfaction (Harrison, Ch2)
  • Attach your QUESTIONS from Step 2 of this assignment!
