Step $7$: While the regression model is clearly significant, it should be clear from the scatter plot that there is strong evidence that the linearity assumption is violated. Use one $($just one, don$$t get carried away making some complex model$)$ of the techniques we discussed to develop a new model that corrects the issue as best as you can using only one technique. You should run a couple different models to see which seems to be the best fit, then select the best one and use it for the remainder of the assignment. Also, make sure you name your variables so that I can readily tell which method you used.
