Step One: Critical Thinking Find three mid-tier influencers (MtIs) who interest you and evaluate at least three posts from each influencer (minimum of 9 posts total); all posts must have been published in 2023 and must be promoting a product or brand. Use the following criteria to evaluate the posts: 1. Subscriber engagement in terms of likes, shares, comments, and questions 2. Ratio of followers/subscribers to comments 3. MtI's response to comments (just emojis/some emojis/vague responses/ engaging responses/drives conversation among followers) 4. MI's response to questions (doesn't respond/vague responses/informed responses/drives purchase consideration) 5. Subscriber engagement in posts in which a brand/product is being promoted: Are questions answered? Does the micro-influencer drive sales? 

Step Two: Creative Suggestions Using what you've discovered via Step One, focus in on one of the three MtIs and suggest at least three concrete/specific ways that the influencer can improve his/her/their social media posts. What could this influencer do that other influencers aren't doing? How can they share content in a more engaging way? Is there a way they can widen their reach without compromising their authenticity? Keep in mind as you come up with ideas that a MtI's budget for a sponsored post will be at most $5,000 (Alain, 2023), so the key here is to creatively level up without spending a lot of money.
