Steve is an accountant who likes to do a lot of his bookkeeping with paper and pencil. When he gets frustrated, he screws the paper into balls and throws them into the neighbouring property's courtyard. (i) What tort has Steve possibly committed? (4 marks) Emma and her friend are both investment bankers. Emma's friend is much more successful. Out of jealousy, Emma gives her friend an investment 'tip', which she knows is wrong. Her friend does not check the tip, but tells it to her employer, which then loses millions of dollars. Emma's friend is then fired. (ii) What tort has Emma possibly committed?
