Stop$-$Work Order $($FAR $52\mathrm{.}242-15)$ is used in Federal Contracts and the Federal Acquisitions Regulation is the authority level as to which it is issued. When reading this clause, it is basically saying that the Government Contractor may at any time issue an order to stop all work for a period of $90$ days or less. When this order is issued all terms and conditions of the order shall be complied with during that period of the stop work order. The Government Contract may issue a stop$-$work order for many reasons such as a realignment of the program or a production breakthrough, or a national emergency. The Stop$-$Work Order Clause requires the Government to either cancel the stop$-$work order and resume work within $90$ days $($or any other agreed upon period$),$ or terminate the work covered by the order $($Smith$,$ Curry & Hancock, $2018).$ This clause would have been part of a contract when COVID$-19$ was around. Multiple organizations had to issue the work$-$stop order to mitigate the risk of the contagious spread.

The Contractor Code of Business Ethics and Conduct $($FAR $52\mathrm{.}203-13)$ is used in Federal Contracts and the Federal Acquisitions Regulation is the authority level as to which it is issued. When reading this clause, it states that all contractors must comply with their standards, discipline, ethics, conduct, and their regulations. When it comes to Government employees, they must conduct themselves in a professional way and they must treat all personnel with dignity and respect. This clause will be used in contract where there is a contract that is values of $$5$ Million dollars, in which they are required to comply with the code of conduct and ethics. For government contractors, having a robust ethics and compliance system is not optional $($Arnholt$,2021)$
