1)Boeing Is the company I chose to research. I believe they use multi-divisional or functional structures. According to their website, they are broken up into 3 major divisions commercial airplanes, defense, space & security, and global services. These are the major divisions representing Boeings biggest outputs with their corporate offices based in Washington D.C. However, they also state that they have functional organizations across the massive, international company that are divided into many sub-functions like engineering, finance, project management, quality control, safety, etc. The list goes on and on. I would guess they are more on the multi-divisional structure side because they are such a huge company it would make more sense to use this setup and form of management with a complex and diverse set of operations. Because this structure has a decentralized structure, this would allow department managers and teams to have more autonomy which is yet another advantage for a company this size because otherwise decision-making and implementation would be too slow to keep up with their customer base.

2) Leidos is the company I am doing my project over. Over the past years, Leidos has acquired new skills and capabilities. Leidos's acquisitions have all been based on the idea of either strengthening current capabilities or adding new ones. Doing so allows them to gain value through the ability to win more government contracts. Not only are they winning more government contracts due to the acquisitions, but some of the acquisitions also allow them to provide services to the larger government primes. This means that they can earn value from their winnings and the indirect government work they do.

3) I am analyzing Best Buy, where Employee engagement is high in a culture that offers recognition, growth, and development possibilities. The company's objectives and goals are shared by its employees, providing a sense of fulfillment and purpose. Effective channels for communication allow for open and transparent discussion at all organizational levels. Knowledge exchange and innovation are made possible by encouraging collaboration and teamwork. Conversely, an unhealthy corporate culture may display several red flags. This could entail a lack of moral principles when questionable actions or immoral conduct are allowed. Poor communication, micromanagement, or a lack of support for staff development can all contribute to ineffective leadership. Low levels of employee engagement could result in disengaged or demotivated workers who feel disconnected from the company's objective.
