Deliverables

The objective of this assignment is to create a Wi-Fi Access Point Placement proposal for ACME Bank Co.ACME Bank Co has provided you a Floorplan (INFO8760 - Assignment1FloorPlanMain.pdf) and requirements they would like met

Here are the business requirements ACME Co has come up:

1)Guest Wi-Fi & Corporate Wi-Fi for our employees & customers.

2)Guest Wi-Fi only needs to exist where customers may be present

3)Corporate Wi-Fi needs to exist where Advisors may be present

4)Corporate owned Assets will only connect to Corporate Wi-Fi

5)Prevent unauthorized access as much as possible

Building Details

1)Waiting Room - Where customers are greeted and may wait for their Private Advisors

2)Private office - This is where customers meet with their bankers

3)Shared office - This is where junior Advisors work. Note that there is a glass celling above this entire space

4)Conference Room - Where Executive Advisors & Private Advisors hold meetings

5)Server Room - This is IT Staff, Network Equipment & Servers exist

6)Safe - Where tellers go to access assets.Note that these rooms have 3 feet thick concrete walls with an additional 3inch steal coating on the wall celling & floor

7)Kitchenet - where all employees store their lunch & use the microwave to warm up food.

8)ASDF Financial Co, a competing financial firm is a neighbor to the left of the building

User profiles

1)There are 3 tellers, they used Wired thin clients they may or may not have personal smartphones

2)There are 6 Junior Advisors that have company issued Laptops that are currently on ethernet.ACME Bank plans to issue them Wi-Fi Tablets, they should be considered in the Wi-Fi proposal

3)There are 9 Private Advisors who have company issued cell phones & personal smartphones.They will also receive tablet & this should be considered in the proposal

4)10 Executive advisors do not have offices at this branch but they do come in for meetings twice a week. They have company issued Laptops, Tablets & Corporate issued & personal smartphones.They will only work out of the Conference room.

2)Use the INFO8760 - Assignment1FloorPlanMain.pdf to place access points that meet the ACME Co Bank Requirements with what you know today.Remember note the scale of the drawing when placing access points

a.Be sure to show the coverage of the access point to scale

3)Create an access point profile.

a.Find an access point model online that you would suggest Acme Bank Co should use

b.Document the technologies the access point will use.Radio frequencies, 802.11 Protocols

4)Create a follow-up questionnaire for Acme Bank Co that would further refine requirements and give a better Access Point map
