In his TEDx Talk, Kevin Roose introducesSurprising, Social and Scarceas considerations for jobs that are unable to be accomplished by AI at this time. If you were to predict the next area AI will conquer, do you think it will be for the Surprising jobs, Social jobs or scarce jobs? Why? Are there are any robot proof jobs? Are there additional concepts related to AI presented in the Textbook that support or contradict the point of view in the TedX Talk? One of Kevin Roose's suggestions is to "have an office and go to the office". This TED talk is from late 2019 prior to the COVID pandemic. How do you think his hypothesis holds up after 2020? How does collocation facilitate process? Do you think that the pandemic slowed down the proliferation of AI process down or sped it up? Why?
