Students are required to interview a local organization and write

a case study/research paper on how the company manages an

aspect of the Human Resources Management (HRM) function.

The group may choose any HM function. The paper should

detail:

The Organization's Chart

The Organization's Strategic Plan

The Human Resources Department Strategic Plan

The Human Resources Functions perform by the

company being studied (only one function must be

chosen from the listing of functions perform)

Describe the function chosen and how it is performed

by the organization:

o Indicating who performs it

O

The incumbent position in the organization

o How long the person has been performing the

task

o The persons academic qualification

Training received as it related to the task being

performed

Compare and contrast the organization's method with

the methods/theories studied in class

Document a summary as to the findings and

recommendations if any
