Any types of deal discussed in this course are acceptable, such as expansion project, M&A, and etc. Choosing a topic/industry related to your own work experience/background/interest will arouse more passion to do the work. Please pretend you are the research group of a company trying to persuade your Board of Directors to agree your proposal by showing qualitative evidence and quantitative analysis that the deal you are proposing is valuable to the company"

Here is what we need:

The report should be at least 5 pages, but no longer than 8 pages

Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced and 1 inch margin

The report should have a cover page with the title of the deal, you group members names and date

The report should include at least the following items:

1) Executive summary

2) Company and industry overview.

3) General descriptions of the deal (including the incentives to initiate the deal)

4) Qualitative argument about the deal

5) Quantitative reasons to initiate the deal. In other words, why and how the deal could add value to the company (including the financial plan, valuation of the deal). Detailed calculation process is needed. You can include charts, figures and other necessary tools as appendix to support your argument. Appendix is not counted in the total pages of the project report. 6) Any other information you think helps with your argument.
