Students may select an operations process from their workplace as the project. The aim will be to analyze the operation and develop methods for improvement.

Literature Review: Students may choose an operations topic of interest and review the published research.

The research paper will be reviewed using the following criteria:

1. Subject/topic relevance
2. Clarity of language and presentation
3. The purpose or the problem clearly stated
4. Materials and methods
5. Data collection and analysis methodology
6. Solutions clearly stated and conclusions supported by the findings
7. Limitations of the study
8. Accurate tables and figures
9. Adequate referencing

Organization of the material should follow introduction or background, methodology, results, discussion and summary format. Appropriate subheadings should be inserted for clarity. Please provide breakdown of each section.
