1) You have just been hired as a public relations specialist at a boutique firm. The firm has five other PR specialists who work together on projects. As a team, you received a new client that needs a comprehensive communication and marketing plan created. While working as a team, you notice Jane is having closed door meetings with one of the vice presidents after every team meeting. Thinking she is updating the vice president, who is not your immediate supervisor, on the project, you do not say anything to the group. A few days after your group briefs the client on the plan and implementation has begun, the vice president announces that Jane has been promoted to account manager based on the work she did for the project. You and other team members are upset because Jane only worked on the initial proposal for the project, not any of the implementation or materials. What course of action will you take?
