Students study the topics provided and select one based on their interest and background. Then, they identify and describe two engineering failures related to their topic that occurred previously. For each case study, students set the boundaries, identify stakeholders, define the inherent risk, describe the causal chain, and explore if the case studies affected or were affected by Indigenous communities.
