Students will complete and write-up one small study by the date listed below. The write-up will consist of: (1) an Introduction based on material from your textbook, lectures, or other research papers. Introductions should be between 2 and 3 pages long; (2) a Method section that includes a brief description of the procedures used; (3) a Results section that includes a summary of the results, possibly with tables or figures; and (4) a brief (1 to 3 pages) Discussion section. The write-up should be between 6 and 10 pages in length (typed, double spaced, 12-point font). Students are encouraged (but not required) to submit a draft of the small study on or before the date listed below. Students will be given feedback on the draft that they can use to improve the final paper. Submitting a draft is optional, and students will not receive any extra points for submitting a draft.
