Students will research and learn from current events that relate to the topics covered in the course material. This exercise will allow students to examine how real companies deal with or develop strategies based on world events. Tying real live experiences with theories maximizes the learning experience and prepares students to learn skills that can be used in the real workplace. Please select a topic of interest and then research a current event of three months or less. This is an individual exercise. Each student will prepare a two$-$page summary of the current event and explain how it relates to the topic chosen. Make sure you attach a link to the actual article. Topics need to be approved by the end of week one. The current event project will be due at the end of week two.
