STUDY INTRODUCTION

Preparea post that covers the following items:

• Introduction to the research study
• Problem statement section that includes:
• Research questions that relate back to this problem statement and that can be used to guide the study
• The problem statement itself
• At least two citations from the literature that shows that this is a known problem impacting the field
• A statement of scope that shows who is impacted by this problem
• Purpose statement in which the student answers the questions:What will be the purpose of investigating this problem and attempting to address the research questions? Who will benefit from this study?

Then, at the end of the post address the following questions:

• What will be good sources of literature for this particular research study?
• What topic areas will be relevant from a literature perspective?
• How might they be organized?
• How will this problem be researched?
• What data might be gathered?
• How might it be analyzed?
