So they have found that there are several symptoms of covid-19 patients such as flu, throat infection, fever, body ache, and headaches are few those symptoms and we will limit the symptoms for only those for the purpose of discussion. Now, if you are statistician, you would say, out of the covid patients, 60% had a high fever and 90% had throat infection. Though these numbers give you some idea, what we need to know as a policy decision-maker, what is the percentage that the patient will have covid-19 given that he has a fever?
In the above scenario, to decide whether the patient is suffering from covid, there are more than one parameter such as fever, flu, throat infection, body ach etc. So you need all these parameters to be analyzed in order to predict whether the patient has covid.
Note: design a database that contain symptom table with all possible attributes mentioned in above scenario then apply Nave bays algorithm for prediction of covid patient.
