Think of an academic subject where you have high self-efficacy:

• What were the biggest contributors to your self-efficacy in that area? (i.e. Performance accomplishments, verbal persuasion, emotional arousal, and/or vicarious experience). Specifically describe what contributed to your self-efficacy.
• Because of your self-efficacy, what influence did it have on the following:
  • The goals and activities you chose to undertake.
  • Your cognitive processes related to that task.
  • Your motivation.
  • How you felt emotionally.
  • Your self-regulation related to that subject area.
  • Your learning strategies and tactics used in that subject area.

Now repeat the process and answer the same questions about an academic subject where you have low self-efficacy.
