Suppose that your campus administration is proposing to demolish a much-beloved facility or to cancel a program
Question:
Suppose that your campus administration is proposing to demolish a much-beloved facility or to cancel a program or service popular with students. One simple yes/no question would capture campus opinion on the proposal: "Are you in favor of...?"
Obviously, this one question provides no information on who is answering the question. While it provides a black-and-white summary of attitudes about the project, the question does not capture any "shades of gray" subtleties of attitude, nor does it provide any information on respondents' knowledge of the project or possible actions toward it.
2.)Develop a list of questions that capture in more detail the information you would need to develop a persuasive campaign for or against a campus initiative such as those above.
- Decide how each question should be formatted, and include each question in your assignment.
- Decide the best way of getting the survey to respondents (e.g., face-to-face, mail, online, etc.).In one or two paragraphs, briefly indicate why you think this is the best way.
