Question: Suppose you are climbing a hill whose shape is given by the equation z = 10000 . 005 x 2 0 . 01 y 2

  1. Suppose you are climbing a hill whose shape is given by the equation z= 10000.005x20.01y2where x, y, and zare measured in meters, and you are standing at a point with coordinates (60,40,966). The positive x axis points east and the positive yaxis points north. Find a vector representing the direction where there is zero slope at the point P.

I don't understand how you would find where there is zero slope. I found the largest slope though, I am just not sure how you would exactly use the gradient to find where there is no slope.
