Susan entered the United States with a tourist visa in 2014.  She overstayed her visa and became undocumented later that year.  Susan's sister Becky also overstayed, but in 2016 Becky got her green card through marriage.  Other than Becky, Susan doesn't have any other family members with status in the U.S., and no one has ever filed an immigrant petition for her in the past.  In 2021 Susan met her wife, Nelly.  They got married last month.  Nelly has been a lawful permanent resident since 2014, and Nelly's green card will expire in 2024.  They are wondering what they can do to live in the U.S. together with lawful immigration status.
