Table 2 on next page shows results from a study examining detection and recognition thresholds measured from 90 participants from Thailand. Three age groups (30 people each) were examined. Taste stimuli were tested in dionized water. For sucrose and NaCl, speculate on why the results collected from the class differ from those for the 20-39 year old group results shown in the paper. When you make your comparison, make sure to check that the units being reported are the same for your lab and for the published results.
