Table $-$ Stream Flow

The $.$mat file "StreamData.mat" contains a table that has the water level in feet $($ft$),$ channel width in feet $($ft$),$ and velocity data in meters per second $(\frac{m}{s})$ for different streams.

Load the file. Then calculate the flow rate of each stream in cubic meters per second $(\{$:$m^{{?}^{{?}^{?}}}\frac{3}{s}).$ These flow rate values should be stored as a new column named FlowRate in the

table. The data in the original columns should remain unchanged.

The flow rate can be calculated for a rectangular channel with the equation:

$Q=hbV$

where:

$Q$ is the flow rate in cubic meters per second $m^{{?}^{{?}^{?}}}\frac{3}{s}$

$h$ is the height of water in meters $[$m$]$

$b$ is the width of the channel in meters $m$

$V$ is the velocity of the of the water in meters per second $\frac{m}{s}$

Then sort the table by flow rates $($in increasing order$)$ and save the sorted table as the new table StreamSorted. Make sure you are sorting the entire table and not just the column

with flow rates.
