2. Pick any job that exists (ie. Nurse, customer service rep, industry worker etc – can be any job).
3. Create a job description based on what you learned in your readings and lecture. There are many examples to look at via simple google search.
4. Once the job description is complete, please create a job posting to recruit to the position you created the Job description for. There are many examples to look at via simple google search.
Scenario:
You are the lead HR recruiter for your company. The organization has been struggling to fill many positions due to a recent expansion and a competitive labour market. The CEO has asked you to develop an exciting new marketing campaign to attract new employees to the organization.
1. The first action is to review your current job description and create a Job Description for the position that you are wishing to recruit for.
2. The second action is to create a captivating and exciting job posting to attract quality applicants to the vacant jobs.
Criteria, format, guidelines, assessment:
1. Double spaced, 11 point font (Calibri, Arial, Times New Roman), no more than 1000 words (roughly 4 pages) totalfor both the Job Description and Job posting.
2. If you use reference materials, please cite the references.
3. Spelling and grammar is considered as part of the assignment criteria so please use spell check.
4. Assignment is worth 15% of your overall grade
5. Any late submissions will be penalized as per regulations.
