Remedies under IRA For dismissal cases under Section 20, the Court may order: 1. Reinstatement into his former employment. 2. Award of back wages (from dismissal date to the final date of hearing - subject to maximum period of 24 months). For probationer -12 months' back wages based on his last- drawn salary 3. The Court may also order compensation in lieu of reinstatement base on the formula on one month salary for every year of service. Where there is post-dismissal earnings, a percentage of such earnings, to be decided by the Court, shall be deducted from the back wages given; Any relief given shall not include any compensation for loss of future earnings, and shall take into account contributory misconduct of the workman
