A client for one of your large development projects has come to you with a road design problem.
The engineering design has a particular layout for the current stage, however an ecological study has identified that there are two significant trees within the road pavement design (see Figure 2.2-1). The design for this section of road will need to be re-calculated to avoid the significant trees.

The first step in the re-design process is to calculate a curve through the two trees, assuming the existing roads are the tangent lines for the curve.
Use appropriate manual methods to solve the circular geometry (radius, major chord bearing and distance, tangent lengths) of the curve through the trees.
You may use a Close program for any traverse calculations, if required.
