Task 1 - Creating Power to Run His Business Farmer Smith used a lot of power to operate some of the machinery on his large farm. He was concerned that he was spending too much money for the amount of electrical energy that he needed. In 2010, he decided to start a little project on his farm to generate his own power. In the first year of his project, he built a small water wheel beside a river to collect some electrical energy. In the second year he added another water wheel to increase the amount of energy that he produced. Every year he made improvements to his project such as building a little dam to have more flow of water to his water wheels. The table below shows the amount of electrical energy that he generated every year since he started in 2010. Farmer Smith plans to modernize his farm in 2026. He believes that he will need to generate at least 27500 kiloWatt-hours (kWHr) of energy for his farm. Will he be able to meet this energy demand from his electrical project in 2026?
